For anyone going through a life change

Change is so incredibly hard, and I didn’t quite realize it until recently. Can you relate? You probably can. Whether it's sickness, stress, a lack of motivation, fear of the future, fear of what others think of you, or fear for the season to come- I empathize with you on a deep level. But it’s in the difficult moments that God’s goodness is displayed.
Change got me like:

James 1:2-4 says:
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, when you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
In the hard moments, your family gets to come through for you. Your friends get to cheer you up. You get to find joy in the small things- music, dancing, your dad’s jokes, and the list could go on and on.
Through transition, there are some things I’ve learned and want both you and I to remember the next time we are facing something hard.
For starters, use your pain for good. Use it to spread God’s glory. Use it to encourage someone else. God gave you this mountain to show others that it could be moved.
Next, remember that we aren’t promised an easy life. In fact, God promised that it would be difficult. However, like I said before, it’s in the difficult moments that we get to see God’s goodness shine through the darkness.
Have child-like faith. It’s so easy to get caught up in the questions and wondering why, but God continually commands us to give Him our burdens and trade them for trust, peace, forgiveness, repentance, and a secure future.
Be content with what you have. A mentor once gave me a great piece of advice: “don’t let your blessings turn into burdens.” So often we finally arrive where we’ve always wanted to be, and then we let comparison and discontentment steal our joy. Don’t do that! Remember how hard you’ve worked to get exactly where you are and how much God has blessed you. Thankfulness beats discontentment every time.
A short message, but one that needs to be heard. Hope this encourages you! May God bless your situation. 💗
